Obligate aerobes:

These organisms require absolute oxygen for their growth.

Eg:  Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Obligate anaerobes:  

These organisms grow in the environment which lacks oxygen.

Eg: Clostridium botulinum, Clostridinum perfringens.

Facultative anaerobes:  

These organisms grow under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions.

Eg: Staphylococcus aureus etc.  

Capnophiles:  

These organisms require an increased concentration of carbon dioxide (5 to 10%) with nearly 15% oxygen. 

Eg: Haemophilus influenza, Neisseria gonorrhoea etc.
