Azurophilic granules:

Azurophilic granules are the primary granules seen in neutrophils or polymorphonuclear neutrophilic leukocyte (PMN). These granules are lysosomes that stain intensely with Romanoskwy stain giving a purplish hue to the cytoplasm.  These granules contain the following enzymes
